Keith’s music career is a very interesting story. Keith initially recorded “Wonderful Tonight”, an Eric Clapton, tune for his wife, Linda, as a Christmas gift. In that connection, Keith enlisted the talents of his friend and producer, Clarence Collins. Clarence is the founder of Little Anthony & The Imperials and a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Clarence brought in William Weist and Mary Eckler as arrangers. Both have served as musical directors for prominent musicians including Little Anthony & The Imperials, Rita Coolidge, and Helen Reddy. Clarence and Keith also asked Jim Gilstrap to assist with backup vocals. Jim has sung backup for, among others, Stevie Wonder and James Taylor. At various times, Clarence and Rick Morris, of the Skyliners, have performed backup vocals on Keith’s songs.
The initial recording of “Wonderful Tonight” led to a complete ten song album featuring fresh versions of songs such as “I Only Have Eyes for You”, “Ain’t No Sunshine When She’s Gone”, “My Sweet Lady”, “Through The Years”, “The First Time”, “Words”, “Blue Eyes”, “Sea of Love”, and previously unrecorded “Song Without an End”. The musical arrangements with respect to many of the songs on the “Love Songs for Linda” album are fresh and differ markedly from the original versions. “Song Without an End” is the subject of a youtube video.

All of Keith’s songs have received radio airplay in the United States, Canada, and Europe. “I Can See Clearly Now” is presently receiving radio airplay in England.
Keith’s music has been featured on a number of radio shows including The Harmony Street Show hosted by Mike Miller which was broadcast on Boston Internet radio. During that half hour broadcast, six of Keith’s songs were featured. The show ran for over a month on a nightly basis beginning at 9 p.m. eastern standard time. At 4 a.m. eastern standard time, the show was broadcast into several different countries in Europe.
Keith’s music was the subject of a magazine piece entitled “Crooner, Esq.” in Nevada Magazine’s July/August 2013 edition. Additionally, Keith’s music has been featured on local television in Las Vegas, Nevada.
